Holy crap I'm stoked! I'm assuming we'll be registering in the "fast" class? Not that I'm saying we will or need to be fast, just seems like the right class. Fee is a little steep but maybe we can make up for it with free beer consumption. We decide on teams yet.
We could even do the Burnin' Virgins class. Maybe one "Fast" team and one "Burnin Virgins" team? I agree, steep fee. I checked and Rapture was $45 per person for the 12 hour teams. Pretty standard I guess.
I was thinking more on the Burnin Virgin class, since this is the first race for the majority of us. The price is steep. I usually pay that amount for golf tournaments and get lunch, dinner and beer along with a bag of goodies for just playing and getting drunk. I'm going to have to get use to this race thing. Do we even get free beer?
I'm not to worried about the beer and schwag. I just wanted to stir up some shit. 50 bucks really isn't that bad. Those golf tournaments I'm talking about are actually over $75.

I don't know about the free beer, though the Seagal guys are always pushing the PBR.
