Riding, Planning, Burnin

Did some riding over the weekend. Saturday was 40 miles 4 hours of all Castlewood singletrack. I haven't ridden there much this year so it stayed fun the whole time. Sunday was 12 miles of fun with Jess and the dog. Once again I was impressed with her riding. I think she's really enjoying it.

Good action. You guys look good on the trail.

And that poster is major stokage.

I vote for a coffee stout and then something lighter (yeah, like last year.)

I love that Jess has on a MTB United jersey. Does that mean she is getting ready for Burnin'?

That poster is super sweet.

I second the vote for the coffee stout and something lighter (lager-ish).

Schlafly Coffee Stout isn't available until 10/30 just like last year. Oatmeal Stout is year round. In an effort to make this easier on myself and to focus our efforts, I'm going to stick with Schlafly beers. Go to their website, pick one or two. Post the results.

I vote for Oatmeal Stout and Oktoberfest. Bitches.

I second the Oatmeal and Oktoberfest.

Yeah, I'm down for the Oktoberfest and the Oatmeal Stout. I could also pound some Saison, but that's merely cause I like "tart characters" and "Belgian yeast".

How many people are voting? Did we just seal this deal with a majority already?

Coffee stout is available currently in my basement! I have been sitting on a case for months. Coffee might be ready by then?! My buddy brews for them, and I will keep MTB United in the know.

Holy shit Masorn! I've been sitting on some as well but it's dwindled to less than a six pack. Keep us in the loop. We are forever indebted to you.

Still waiting for Moby.

Zach and David (if attending)

Sorry guys, I can't manage getting out there due to a few different factors. I'm gonna shoot for Berryman, though.

Don't want to speak for Zach, but I think he's out. He mentioned in a recent email that he wasn't racing due to a previous commitment to bowhunting. I guess we might be going old school: Me, JP and Moby on a team and Stitz rolling solo. Sound right?

Damn, Dave. There's still lots of time to change your mind.

Zac, you a positive no?

Holy shit Flowers, I didn't think you even checked this thing anymore. Congratulations on the upcoming addition. YOu'll be a good pop.

I'm game with oatmeal stout, but not a big fan of Oktoberfest but that won't stop me from drinking it. My second option would be Hefeweizen.

What's up big daddy flowers. Congratulations on the news. Is Anna excited? How far along is she? Just a little word of advise, get sleep now. The first 2 months are a little crazy, but everyday after that is just amazing.

Congrats, Scott. The beer post even brought Flowers out of hiding.

Fantastic.

Congrats Scott.

This has to be a record for postings on here. The amount has been pretty impressive. On top of that, the content has shifted from beer to having kids.

Damn we're old.
