MTBU Mantra

"It never gets easier, you just go faster."Greg LeMond
Cycle tracks abound in Utopia. -H.G. Wells
Get a bicycle. You will certainly not regret it, if you live. -Mark Twain

Anyway, you get the point. Lots of quotes here.

Some good ones from Breaking Away.

Pretty much what google yielded after a search. We could always try to be original, maybe a haiku? 5-7-5 on the syllables gentlemen. Garth, that was a haiku.

Love the "Breaking Away" reference. I went to grad-school in Bloomington, IN and it was the initiation to watch that movie for any first year grad. I was originally thinking we should get 'Cutters' on our jersey, with the number 34 on the back.

I dig the H.G. Wells quote, for both its brevity and meaning. But again, I'm open to anything.

Other, mostly cheesy, modos:
-Gear me
-Livin the dream
-Have a nice day
-Saddle Up
-Cheers
-If you don't ride then f- you
-etc. etc. etc.

Everybody needs to get their two cents in.

I liked the Wells quote the best as well. I am a little leery of creating a motto and trying to "be" it. If a motto / common purpose type thing was important enough to wear, wouldn't we already have one? Again, following the consensus. Just offering an opinion/vote.

"Motto". That's right. Sometimes I mix my English and Romanian.
