Team Seagal Torture

Coach Ryback of Seagal fame drew up a "Death by Hills" road ride route, with the focus on incorporating all of the most difficult hills in western St. Louis County. He succeeded in creating the route. For whatever reason, 20 of us showed up to attempt to complete the thing. Something like eight or so finished. Others bailed for various reasons. It was a pretty tough day on the bike, one of my toughest. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to complete it, but actually finished stronger than I had expected. It was quite the ride. 35 degrees at best, 83 miles, 7000 feet of climbing, 6 hours of actual rolling time. But don't take my word for it.

Read this this and this instead if you want more details.

Also, check out Lone Wolf Coffee Company, where we started and finished the ride, recently opened by a local cyclist and cycling advocate. So far, their food is amazing. WAY better than Bread Company crap. Seriously. Really cool decor / atmosphere, featuring a million pics and various items pertaining to the pursuit of an active lifestyle.

They may still be gasping for air on the side of the road, trying to stand up but unable due to severe muscle damage.
